One Day — Classic Kyoto
- Morning: Fushimi Inari (early), tea near Tofuku‑ji.
- Midday: Nishiki market tasting walk.
- Afternoon: Gion & Kiyomizu‑dera; sunset at the stage.
- Evening: Pontocho alley dinner (book ahead).
Three Days — City & Nature
- Day 1: East side temples, Sannenzaka & Ninenzaka.
- Day 2: Arashiyama bamboo, Tenryu‑ji, river boat to Kameoka.
- Day 3: Northern temples (Kinkaku‑ji, Ryoan‑ji), Kyoto Imperial Park.
Five Days — Seasonal Kyoto
More time means chasing blossoms or foliage:
- Day 1–2: As above, add Philosopher’s Path (sakura) or Eikando (autumn).
- Day 3–4: Day trip to Nara or Uji tea town.
- Day 5: Workshops (tea ceremony, calligraphy) and slow shopping in Kawaramachi.
